About Us
Harmsen's Greenhouse, Inc. has been a trusted part of the Lamoure community for generations. We are a family-run retail greenhouse dedicated to helping you grow — whether you're a seasoned gardener or planting your first seed.
Our greenhouse is stocked with a carefully curated selection of annuals, perennials, houseplants, vegetables, and garden supplies. We source healthy, vigorous plants and know each variety personally — so we can recommend what will thrive in your space and your soil.
We take pride in being your neighborhood greenhouse: personal service, local knowledge, and plants that last.
What We Offer
From colorful annuals to sturdy perennials — find the perfect plants for every corner of your garden and home.
Our Services
More than a plant nursery — we're a resource for your garden success.
Not sure what will work in your yard? Our team knows local growing conditions and can help you pick plants that will thrive in Lamoure's climate.
We rotate our inventory with the seasons — spring annuals, summer favorites, fall mums, and winter holiday greens — so there's always something new to discover.
Walk in and talk to the people who actually grow and care for your plants. We offer honest advice, no upselling — just help getting the right plant for your space.
We're proud to serve Lamoure and nearby communities. From school garden projects to local events, we're invested in growing green spaces together.
Potting soil, fertilizers, pots, planters, tools, and garden accessories — everything you need in one stop, selected for quality and value.
Our greenhouse protects your plants through late frosts and early warmth, giving you a longer growing season and healthier starts than big-box stores.
What's In Season
No matter the time of year, there's always something waiting for you at Harmsen's.
Annual starts, vegetable transplants, perennials, and fresh soil to kick off the growing season.
Blooming annuals, container gardens, patio plants, and hanging baskets for full sun and shade.
Chrysanthemums, fall foliage, bulb planting, and garden cleanup supplies for the season's end.
Holiday poinsettias, indoor plants, winter greenery, and early spring orders to plan ahead.
Kind Words
We let our plants — and our neighbors — do the talking.
We drive past a dozen stores to come here. The plants are healthier, the selection is better, and the people actually know what they're talking about.
My garden has never looked better. Harmsen's picked out the exact perennials for my shady backyard and they've been thriving for three years now.
It's our family tradition every spring — bring the kids, grab some tomato starts, and browse the greenhouse. It just feels like home.
